hmmm...ang hirap ng question kase i loved both places pero eto yung good things about each city:
TAIPEI
- great weather (malamig like hong kong)
- safer
- mas maganda public transportation
- lots of places to shop and REALLY REALLY good designs that you'll never see in BKK or HK. most are from Japan :) kaso medyo mas mahal sa BKK
- has hot springs (a must try!)
- lots of museums
- not so cheap food
- you need a visa to go here
BANGKOK
- same weather as pinas
- GREAT FOOD
- the whole country is a shopping district in itself! marami din magagandang designs and definitely super cheap! kailangan magaling ka din tumawad kase makakamura ka pa ng sobra.
- transpo system is not as organized as HK or TPE. pero ok naman ang mga taxi. yung tuktuks nila are too crazy for me :(
- wonderful people
- lots of beaches
- everything is cheap like Pinas!
- you don't need a visa to go here
i suggest you go to BKK first :) magtwo days ka for shopping in the city then two days in a beach like phuket or ko samui :) i hope i helped you hehe :)

| hey anavi!!! i can't seem to call out from my HK number eh :(
i had to rent a private van to bring me to utapao so i can catch a flight out of bkk. my original flight sched was 11:40 am to singapore but i got there at 2am the following day na kase everything was delayed. it took me 7 hours to check in my luggages at utapao :( there were so many people grabe! some were angry, impatient, etc. basta lahat ng negative behaviour lumabas sa mga tao :(
pero im grateful kase i still got out unlike yung iba na kawawa naman dahil they had to spend a night there :( eh utapao is a military airport :( not much to do :(
i was able to make it to our family early Christmas reunion in SG :) next time na lang avi :) im sure i'll go back ;)
